It’s been two years now since Winterbourne broke into the iTunes top ten with their debut EP, but now the Central Coast duo are ready to bless our ears once again with a new collection of tunes produced by Andy Mark (Vera Blue).
Shape is the most recent single of two from the boy’s new EP Pendulum and I personally think it is reflecting in style of a combination of Hudson Taylor and Keane while still remaining to their influences of The Beatles with a fresh yet familiar feel. The upbeat energetic pop tune has a driving drum beat that makes you want to stamp your feet, dance in the mud or just scream at the sky along with the easily memorable and repeated chorus.
Along with their release of the new tasty tune, the pair has announced a five-date tour in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and according to a host of online reviews are a band that really have to be seen live to be truly appreciated. They have certainly had plenty of practice with a number of festival appearances and supporting acts such as The Rubens and Little May.
You can pre-order their new EP now and download or stream their latest two singles. Oh and get to a show, they’re flippin’ good!
