After an 18-month absence, The Jezabels are back, and they’ve got some big news.
The Sydney indie-rockers have announced an Australia-wide tour and news about their upcoming new album, Synthia.
The quartet will hit Melbourne on February 26, before travelling to Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane and wrapping up the tour in Perth on March 5.
Synthia doesn’t hit stores until February 12, but fans can get an early taste of the album through the six-minute ‘Come Alive’, already released online.
Following on from 2014’s The Brink, Synthia saw the band reunite with long-time producer Lachlan Mitchell.
Frontwoman Hayley Mary said the new record was a call to action.
“What would you say on your deathbed? What will your regrets be? I think mine might be ‘I was scared’. So take that and act on it now,” she said.
The Jezabels will also be joined by special guest and up-and-coming electro-pop starlet, Eves the Behaviour at all dates of their tour.
