This Saturday, Sydney-based indie outfit Little May will be appearing at Jack Rabbit Slim’s, promoting their upcoming album For The Company. The album, which will be released on October 9th, is sure to be an incredible follow-up to the band’s self-titled debut EP, which was met with critical acclaim from Triple J and BBC Radio 1, among many others.
Little May is made up by Liz Drummond, Hannah Field, and Annie Hamilton, with Hamilton serving not only as band member but also as album art creator, having designed the band’s cover art since the band started. With the release of For the Company, the band decided to share their love for art by launching an exhibition, titled #ArtForTheCompany inspired by the songs on the new album. The exhibition will be shown in Sydney from October 2nd-4th, so Perth fans may not get to see the exhibit itself, the music that inspired the art will still be enough to tide them over (you can still partake in the movement on social media: hashtag any of your own art on Facebook or Instagram using #ArtForTheCompany!)
Don’t miss out on your chance to see Little May now before they take off on their 25-date European and U.S. tour: these ladies are going to be big.
