Blues-jazz singer-songwriter Lanie Lane has announced her retirement from touring and recording.
According to Mushroom Promotions, in a statement released today, Lane cited her current work-life schedule as the reason for her surprise decision.
The musician praised Winterman & Goldstein Management, Ivy League Records, The Harbour Agency, Mushroom Group and her fans for their support.
Lane’s career highlights include chart-topping debut Album To The Horses and second Night Shade, collaborating with Jack White, and multiple industry awards.
Lane, playing her final tour date in Cairns on April 18th, stated she hoped to perform select live shows in the future.
