Daniel Johns Debuts Latest Track

Australian singer/songwriter Daniel Johns has released the first single from his upcoming EP,debuting ‘Aerial Love’ on Triple J.

The song is the title track from the former Silverchair frontman’s new EP, aided by Lorde and Broods collaborator Joel Little, set for a March 13th release. This EP will tease John’s latest solo album, due out later this year.

Acclaimed music video director Lorin Askill (Sia’s ‘Chandelier’) helmed the ‘Aerial Love’ clip (watch the clip here).

Silverchair still holds the record for most ARIAs than any other artist in history and sold over 6 million albums. Johns is the only artist to be nominated three times for APRA’s Songwriter of the Year award.

Johns recently made his first solo appearance at Triple J’s 40th Anniversary concert in Sydney, covering ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ for a 25,000 crowd.
