Kiwi Surf-Rockers Clap Clap Riot Release Third Album “Dull Life”

With the recent dropping off two tracks from their new album, Dull Life, Clap Clap Riot are ready to present their goods to the world. The 11-track LP showcases balmy vocals, a strong drumbeat and a grungy electric guitar along with a variety of other instruments that tie this band’s sound together to give an awesome display of what can be achieved in two years. Dull Life began formation in 2015 and honed the music throughout 2016. Clap Clap Riot began recording at The Lab, Mount Eden in Auckland and mostly focuses on ageing and the social pressures of life when one enters adulthood.

The EP was produced by produced by Tom Healy (Tiny Ruins, Pop Strangers) and mastered by Jared Hirshland (USA) who also mastered Anderson .Paak’s Grammy nominated album Malibu. Dull Life is an awesome achievement by the band and you can really hear the raw passion of the album and the blood, sweat and tears that went into it.
