by – Sophia van Gent

FADEZ Barbershop first opened their doors in 2008 in Goodna Ipswich; before expanding to Newtown in 2009, then in Perth in June last year.

Fadez Facebook page quotes, FADEZ have a “Mad setup, dope beats and good company”, “not to mention, killer threads on sale, phat beats always playing and arcade games to play while you wait.” and “Good music, great staff, good atmosphere.” People love FADEZ for being an awesome store, with awesome music and providing awesome service.

If you are into urban fashion, music and hairstyle, then FADEZ is the place for you. Situated next to Little Sinabro on Barrack St, you’ll have to head downstairs to get to FADEZ, and once you’re there you can check out the fashion range, they stock Six Thousand, Newera, Geedup, G-Shock, KC Wonder Perth amongst others. You can have a hand at playing arcade games whilst you wait.

FADEZ may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but the service is great. The sign might say “Men’s Barbershop” however if you’re a girl and wanting to get a Fade/undercut, they’ll do that for you. Prices for haircuts range from $10 to $75 and even though walk-ins are accepted, those with appointments are prioritised.
